European Lifelong Learning Discourses: The Impact on Adult Education

More specifically, the announcement focuses on:

- The registration of the most important points of the European debate, on a national and supranational level (responses of the Member States, Work documents of the National Committees, of the meetings of the Adult Education General Directors, of the European Association of the Non-Government Organisations etc.).
- The shift of priorities towards the creation of a new European context of Lifelong Learning for the Adult Education and the identity of the Active Citizen.
- The main characteristics of the methodologies that the Lifelong Learning aspect introduces in the development of the field of Adult Education.
- The connection – from the point of view of critical pedagogies- of these methodologies with the creation of the identities of the Active Citizen.

During the announcement there will be presented the results of the meeting of the Adult Education General Directors of the European Union Member States as well as the results of the European Conference on Adult Education in the space of Lifelong Learning.
