The Basics Academy of College and Career Preparation: An Interdisciplinary Systems of Care Approach

Low income African American school age youth lack a system that includes emphasis on succeeding in both black and white worlds, arithmetic, science, independent and creative thinking and writing, college and career preparation including entrepreneurial education, college placement and continuous systems of care and support. The term basics, refers to each of the abovementioned important study components which are emphasized throughout this innovative practice endeavour.
