The Digital Divide, Close to Home

I will describe the efforts of teachers of writing at MIT to adopt digital technologies in our teaching. I will also explore what the impact of digital media is for how we define literacy, how writing pedagogy should change to accommodate the realities of writing today, and what is lost or gained of traditional writing pedagogy in accommodating digital media in our courses.
