New Communication Initatives Building College and Community Relationships and Student Skills through Special Projects

Peg OConnor.

Participants will explore the success of corporate brainstorming to identify and examine the potential for growth and success that can be transferred to the classroom environment. Emphasizing the creativity of students and integrating this creativity with the very real, but often unknown needs of the institution and non-profit community sets the stage for a remarkable learning experience.

The process gives the traditional classroom structure and assignment base new meaning.

Individual students or student groups learn to develop visual schemes to generate ideas and understand the relationships among various community groups.
