Daily Media Experience among Young Adults

Margaret Mackey.

This session will offer preliminary findings from an intensive study of a small number of young adults, aged 18 and over. It will examine their tastes and behaviours in relation to a range of media: computer and video games, films, Internet sites, graphic texts, print on paper, and electronic print. The presentation will address questions of how they select among all the media on offer to them and how they make particular media texts part of their daily lives.
