  Helping Students To Learn Resilience

  Abstract:
 
This paper outlines a classroom program classroom program which is integrated with other curriculum areas and is based around games, cooperative learning, songs and literature. An intensive fourteen trial of the program was carried out and the results confirmed that the program had a very positive effect on a number of key welfare variables for both teachers and students. It also confirmed that students were able to learn the core resilience skills presented with a very high rate of retention and comprehension.
