HUTONG TOUR: Following the footsteps of the old Beijingers In the afternoon arrive at the 700-year-old Drum Tower, the ancient town clock, by rickshaw and climb the high tower to over-look both the old city and new city in the outskirts. Go to the Ying Ding Bridge, one of the eight famous sightseeing places in Beijing in Shi Sha Lake area by rickshaw. Take a walk in the old hutong and quadrangle with the resident homes. Visit the Prince Gong's Palace, the place where the old aristocrats once lived. Then you will take a traditional Chinese boat at Shi Sha Lake to enjoy sunset over the western mountain. After the tour you will have a chance to taste famous Peking Roast Duck. (The tour starts at about 4pm and finish at 9pm after Peking Duck Dinner) |
