Delegates are advised that when applying for a visa they should apply for a 'tourist' visa as opposed to a 'business' visa as attendance at the conference is not a business activity.
You may then indicate your 'Purpose of Journey' as 'attending an international education conference'.

You will need to include a passport photo and travel itinerary or proof of airline ticket purchase with your application.

Further information if required is the location of the conference, that being the Beijing Friendship Hotel.

For delegates who have booked accommodation via the conference website, the hotel address details for your residence in China are as follows:
- Beijing Friendship Hotel: 3 Bai Shi Qiao Road, Beijing 100873, China
- Olympic Hotel Beijing: 52, Baishiqiao Road, Haidian District, Beijing, China 100081

Should the Chinese Embassy in your location require an official letter of invitation, you may request one in writing from the Beijing Normal University in the following manner...
