Current Interests and Offices: I am a teacher educator involved in the preservice and inservice training of English teachers, and in outreach programmes based on redress and equity. Particular interests are: methodology of literature teaching, media studies, curricular change especially new developments in literacies, assessment, pedagogy and interdisciplinarity. I am Co-ordinator of the MA in English Education, an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary coursework degree, which I helped conceptualise and develop.
