The Future of University in Iran
Abstract:
Today university has social, cultural, economic, and political
functions besides its educational and research functions. In
addition to university, there are other organizations and institutes
playing an important role in
generating and developing science and making it widespread as well. In the present article, first we will discuss the educational and research aspects of university in Iran, then its present functions will be illustrated. In the End, the future of this institution will be studies with respect to the existing conditions and also the strategies, objectives, and trends depicted in the development programs.
