Developing Study Skills Online

Abstract

This presentation discusses the development of an online study skills site at the Northern Territory University in Australia. The discussion addresses two dimensions. The first provides an overview of the site and its development highlighting some of the main features of the site. This will also include discussion of the objectives of the project, some of the obstacles faced, and how they were overcome. The second dimension of the presentation provides some reflections on the philosophical and pedagogical issues that are generated by the move to online delivery of educational materials.
