Students and teachers research the use of IT in primary and secondary schools

Abstract

What happened when university researchers worked with student and teacher researchers to inquire into the integration of IT into the school curriculum? This presentation reports on a 12 month collaborative research project in 6 disadvantaged schools in South Australia. It draws on interview transcripts, teacher work programs, student products and a documentary video to explore questions arising from the research into IT, literacy and educational disadvantage.
