AbstractThis workshop will explore the significance of no-verbal communication (NVC) in the multicultural classroom. The three broad aspects of paralanguage, kinesics and contextual or environment clues will be outlined and discussion will indicate how these can impact on interpersonal communication. Finally, a range of teaching ideas which have been successfully trialled, will be suggested to address this aspect in any teaching program. |
