Aboriginal Perspectives of South Australian History Ms Veena Gollan. Aboriginal Education Worker Mrs Sue Sifa, Secondary Curriculum Consultant Abstract 'Experience the events of South Australia's history 1800 to the present through an interactive role play. In the workshop team members will lead participants through a role play which allows them to experience the impact of dispossession, removal and oppression following European colonization of South Australia as a member of one of the major Aboriginal groups. Team members will discuss how they use this role play and a variety of creative and imaginative approaches to inservice teachers and implement a dynamic and culturally appropriate Aboriginal Studies programme in both primary and secondary schools.
